We have a core group of regular volunteers who help us maintain the growing areas throughout the town but we are always looking for new people to get involved. If you are a keen gardener come and join in at the community garden, there are always plenty of tasks to get on with all year round.

Call into the Community Garden (found between 117 & 119 Park Rd) any day during the week before 4pm and ask for Danny or John or come on a Sunday when it is always busy with volunteers doing a variety of gardening tasks (and drinking cups of tea!)

If you are not naturally green-fingered but keen to learn come along and John or Danny our gardeners will help you get involved.

You can start by just helping with the watering or weeding if you like and you can learn as you go.

If you would prefer to volunteer in the food and cookery side of our project please contact karen@project1-k73z9e4qk6.live-website.com and see how you can help either in the kitchen or with events. Volunteers are needed to help with food collections, food preparation and of course sharing the food with others.
