Merry Christmas from EATS Rosyth!

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported EATS Rosyth this year and wish you a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

We are excited for 2017 to see what the people of Rosyth can grow at home and in our public growing spaces and also to see our new hub become a great community space to meet with you and share the aims of our project. We are holding a Volunteer Recruitment evening on Tuesday 17th January so please come along if you wish to find out more about how to get involved. Here are a few words from some of our volunteers:

Dace says “What a fantastic discovery this has been for me and my kids. After visiting Rosyth Community Market and meeting John at his stall we decided to try out and do some gardening. So the following weekend my daughter was showing the way as she has visited the community garden before with her Primary School. I was so happy to see that there is something like this near my house as every single person in garden is very welcoming and helpful. Since our first visit we have been quite a lot and enjoyed every visit. I would like to THANK ALL involved in this project and wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy New 2017 Year.”

Rebecca says “What a fantastic team at Eats Rosyth. I started volunteering a little under a month ago with my daughter who is 21 months old. We have learned so much working along side John who has dedicated his time to encourage and support anyone who wants to come along and learn. It has been a fantastic opportunity for me to meet people in the community.
